Hart: Weyward
4 Stars

Eloquent, exquisite writing meets magical realism in this beautiful story of three generations of women, told across different timelines. I was completely captivated by the way this story explores motherhood, family secrets, survival, and the strength of women. Each generation carries her own struggles, but there is something incredibly empowering about watching these women find their strength, survive difficult circumstances, and ultimately learn to thrive. The historical fiction elements are beautifully woven into the story, and the multiple perspectives give each woman her own voice while connecting their stories in such a meaningful way. Weyward is a lovely story about motherhood, resilience, and the power passed from one generation of women to the next.
A book that will grab you from the beginning and practically beg you to keep reading. And don't skip the epilogue, it beautifully wraps up the story and gives a great final glimpse at Violet.
